ISABELLE MARCELES

I am interested in photojournalism the most, and my ultimate goal would be to work for National Geographic. However, I also am intrigued by investigative documentary journalism and the impact that in-depth visual reporting can have on society. I am driven toward reporting on populations in developing countries, health crises and the ongoing effects of climate change.

When not covering new events or serving tables, you can find me at either a thrift store or a local coffee shop. I keep a camera on me - my Pentax K1000 is my favorite to shoot with - to capture moments throughout my day. More often than not I am reading a book or flipping through a magazine while listening to my favorite music. I am blessed to say I have travelled a bit in my life, and I am excited to travel to Ireland this upcoming summer to visit friends.
